Today I'm presenting a new commissioned painting that I've finally been able to complete. It took me a little longer to create a preliminary study in my sketchbook because I didn't know exactly how to realize the painting creatively.
I have already received very positive feedback from the client. Here is the text I wrote to him about the picture:
When I prayed for you, I had the impression that Jesus wanted to give you a new pair of spiritual glasses, almost like night-vision goggles. With your normal eyes, you can only see the perhaps disturbing events in the world and in yourself, which may even frighten you. But Jesus wants to give you a pair of glasses with which you can see into the spiritual reality, i.e. recognize God's perspective. You can suddenly see light, love and hope in a dark world. Jesus wants to show you His view of things. He wants to lead and guide you. He wants to show you where to go, where you should go, at what pace, when it is time to move on, when you should stop and take a break, He wants to warn you of dangers, show you when and where there are divine moments that you might miss.
Now, of course, you have to accept these glasses and say YES to them. And, of course, to put them on again and again, i.e. to decide again and again for God's perspective and to tear your gaze away from those things in the world that want to frighten you. Jesus wants to teach you how to use these glasses, how to deal with what you see through them! Enjoy your new glasses and the picture.
What a blatant prayer shift that was yesterday at the House of Prayer in Munich!
New prayer shift for art in the Munich House of Prayer
We have had new prayer shifts since the beginning of September.
What a great evening yesterday was. The prayers on the subject of identity fitted in very well with those for artists.
The hook for the intercessory part
Ausgedrückt durch den Satz von Friedrich Nietzsche aus „Also sprach Zarathrustra“: „There still has to be some chaos in order to give birth to a dancing star.„
As a result, many artists take drugs, are addicted to alcohol, depressed and suicidal. As a result, many have died of an overdose and committed suicide. What would have happened if they had been cured, experienced security, what great art could we still have from them now?
As Christians, we also know pain and have experienced disappointment. We do not hide this, but we have a place for healing and comfort and, above all, a perspective of hope.
That's why I painted the picture: The birth of a dancing star out of security!
What happened during the hour?
In the intercessory part, we prayed for healing from brokenness, pain, depression, where we as Christian artists are not excluded: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Is 61:1)
As we prayed I felt God's heart break for the artists, He knows the brokenness that many artists feel. The presence of God was so strong and intense in this prayer time that I was moved to tears.
In the next part, we prayed for security with the Father, to arrive in the garden (we had sung the song beforehand). Jesus wants to give us security in the garden, but we also have to come to him for it: “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11, 28
We had such an intense time of prayer that I left out my last point of intercession. With the last song, I challenged us to express the content of the song in a prophetic action.
I put off all my heaviness and I put on this garment of praise
You turned my mourning into dancing
And You turned my night into day
Ich lege alle Schwere ab und Ziehe das Lobpreisgewand an Du hast meine Trauer in Tanzen umgewandelt Und Du hast meine Nacht in Tag verwandelt
So I invited us to celebrate what Jesus has already done with us or to express in an action what he would still do for us: Shaking off the heaviness, symbolically putting on the garment of praise and dancing because Jesus turns mourning into dancing. It was a powerful time, as some of us really got into it when we played the song.
The evening ended with a spontaneous praise session...
Cordial invitation to the Munich House of Prayer
What a powerful evening! If you are an artist in the Munich area or simply a prayer warrior or intercessor, I cordially invite you to drop by the Munich House of Prayer! Of course, I would be especially pleased if you would support us in this hour for art.

Recently I was able to complete a special commissioned painting that is somehow quite unusual for my art. It is so different in its colors and expression.
That is the impression I received for the client.
While I was in the hospital some time ago, I had a deep encounter with God. I prayed for a country I have visited many times. It is currently not possible to travel there. Suddenly I became aware of how God is secretly acting on them. We planted a seed that is now sprouting. Now they have to reach to reach out to God themselves. They are allowed to recognize what God has placed in them and what is already in them.
In my art newsletter I gave away an original prophetic painting to people who gave me feedback. This picture was created of that. As the winner did not want to purchase the original herself, so I am offering it for sale here.
The impression was this:
When I prayed for you, I saw something like a round temple, but with a ballustrade or wall that opened outward into the landscape. The landscape was beautiful, vast and just to be enjoyed. Leaning against the wall was something like a pair of wings, like those seen in carnival costumes. Next to it was a large container of glue.
My impression was that these wings were actually your wings. That you were made to fly. But someone had managed to captivate you and prevent you from flying. He also tried to use the glue to keep you on the ground so that you couldn't stand up to fly under any circumstances. That hurt you deeply, so much so that you didn't want to fly anymore.
A week ago, together with the Gebetshaus München , I had the opportunity to spend a day of prayer in the Altenhohenau Monastery at Father’s House of the Nations. In addition to our house of prayer, a total of 8 houses of prayer and ministries were there, such as FHN Upperroom, HOP Basel, Loretto Salzburg, Kingdom Impact, House of Prayer Augsburg and a few others.
Our contribution should be about the Bride of Christ. That's why I asked Jesus beforehand what a picture I wanted to create that day might look like. This is how the picture that I can present to you today was created.
I was able to complete another prophetic painting before Christmas. After the client had already commissioned a picture for two daughters, the third was now for her husband as a Christmas present.
I am very happy that I was able to create his 6th commissioned painting for a good friend. He had repeatedly ordered pictures for himself and also for family members. This time he had ordered a picture for himself again in order to receive instructions from God for the coming year.
I wrote this impression to my friend about the picture:
I am very happy that I can introduce you to two new pictures today. These drawings are special to me in several ways. At one point I hadn't received any new orders or been able to sell any art for six months. I asked myself whether I should adjust the content and stop making art that had explicitly Christian content. Still beautiful art that is praise, but would not contain any obviously Christian themes or symbols.
But suddenly I received an commission from a woman I didn't know. A picture for the daughter and the husband was requested. When I asked whether this should be one or two pictures, the answer was that each of them should actually have their own picture. And then I'm amazed at how incredibly great and encouraging the feedback was. I will post both works in one blog post each, but write the feedback for both.
Surprising flowering in winter
For the painting for the daugther I had the following impression, which I also sent to the recipient:
