I am very happy that I can introduce you to two new pictures today. These drawings are special to me in several ways. At one point I hadn't received any new orders or been able to sell any art for six months. I asked myself whether I should adjust the content and stop making art that had explicitly Christian content. Still beautiful art that is praise, but would not contain any obviously Christian themes or symbols.
But suddenly I received an commission from a woman I didn't know. A picture for the daughter and the husband was requested. When I asked whether this should be one or two pictures, the answer was that each of them should actually have their own picture. And then I'm amazed at how incredibly great and encouraging the feedback was. I will post both works in one blog post each, but write the feedback for both.
Surprising flowering in winter
For the painting for the daugther I had the following impression, which I also sent to the recipient:
„Hello dear […],
Your mother asked me to pray for you and to ask Jesus what He wants to show me for you. I should then convert what I heard from him into a drawing for you. When I prayed for you, I saw a winter landscape in the forest covered in deep snow. It was freezing cold and everything was covered in deep snow. It was so clear that it wouldn't thaw again so quickly and that spring would still be a long time coming.
But in the middle of it all there was suddenly a green, spring-like spot. A small tree had grown and was in full bloom. There were hearts everywhere on the tree.
To me this means that there are areas in your life where it has been winter for a long time. Everything is frozen, nothing seems to change or even improve. For me, the green oasis and the tree represent God's sudden, surprising moments when he suddenly comes in unexpectedly and changes things in a wonderful way. And I believe that’s exactly what Jesus wants to do with you. He wants to break into areas where nothing has changed for so long. He wants to give a new spring, let everything bloom. This will happen unexpectedly and suddenly.
This will change you so profoundly that you will even be able to pass on this experience, this treasure, to others. You are so sensitive that you have an eye for others who are similar to you and who feel the same way. You have now received something from God that you can pass on to others because you have already experienced the breakthrough.
I sincerely hope that this happens in your life. Feel free to pray over the picture and the impression to see whether the Holy Spirit will show you more. And most importantly, reach out for that breakthrough to happen.
