Prophetic Art: Each Fruit Takes Its Time (Colored Pencil)

I began to create this spontaneous, prophetic picture on an outreach auf der “Langen Kunst Nacht” in Landsberg a. Lech begonnen.  Jede Frucht braucht Zeit zum Heranreifen, es dauert uns manchmal viel zu lange. Manche Früchte brauchen sogar Frost, damit sie die notwendige Süße und Reife erhalten. Als Kinder haben wir Pflaumen geerntet als es schon kalt und diesig war.

Prophetic Art: Let Incense Rise (Colored Pencil)

This spontaneous, prophetic picture was created during a prayer and worship time in the house of prayer Munich. The picture is inspired by the song "Worthy of it all", where in one line it says:

Day and night, night and day, let incense arise (Tag und Nacht, Nacht und Tag, lass Weihrauch aufsteigen)

Here, incense is a picture of our devotion, worship, and praise, rising like incense to God in heaven.

This spontaneous, prophetic picture was created during a worship time in my home group. In our lives we experience hurt and disappointment again and again, so that our heart bleeds and hurts.

But we don't have to hide this bleeding heart, we can hold it out to Jesus because he wants to heal it. He can even restore our hearts so much that new passion and fire pour out of them.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Heute darf ich euch ein neues Auftragsbild präsentieren. Es war der dritte Auftrag einer Freundin für eine mir unbekannte Empfängerin.

I wrote this to the recipient:

Hello dear unknown recipient of the picture,
I have a prophetic picture for you today after […] asked me to pray for you and ask Jesus what He wants to say to you through me. I should paint what I received as a picture for you.

So when I was praying for you, this picture came up very quickly. I saw a large red dragon curled up to sleep. It was totally dark around him and there was scorched earth everywhere. In the midst of it all, a woman stood paralyzed because she was pinned right behind the dragon's neck. At first the woman was totally overwhelmed and was rigid with fear. She didn't know what had happened to her and how she could get out of the precarious situation.

But the longer she was in the situation, the more she realized that she was already light here. Her immediate surroundings were illuminated by your presence alone (or Jesus within you). There was even green grass growing around her. She recognized more and more the authority she has in Christ and began to take her stand. Eventually she even found joy in conquering this land for Jesus and in triumphing over the circumstances and in even shaping the atmosphere.

I wish that this picture will help you to look away from your challenging circumstances (the dragon and the scorched land) and to see more and more who you are in Christ and the authority you are given through His blood and His name. Take your country! Jesus is in and with you!

Einsatz auf der “Langen Kunst Nacht” in Landsberg am Lech

Ich habe das Vorrecht Teil der “Langen Kunst Nacht” in Landsberg am Lech zu sein. Hier werde ich Teil des Offenen Ateliers “Ein HERZ für Landsberg” sein.

Am 16./17.9.2022 werde ich dort sein, um meine Kunst zu machen, gemeinsam mit Besuchern ein Bild zu gestalten und für Fragen zur Verfügung zu stehen. Natürlich könnt ihr dort meine Kunst anschauen und kaufen.

Mourning into Dancing

Dieses Bild ist während einer Gebets- und Lobpreiszeit spontan entstanden. Es gibt eine Textpassage, die mich in letzter Zeit immer wieder begleitet. Sie stammt ursprünglich aus dem Song “Love on Fire” von Jeremy Riddle:

I put off all my heaviness and

I put on this garment of praise

You turned my mourning into dancing

And You turned my night into day

Es ist eine Sache, dass Jesus unsere Trauer in Tanzen verwandelt, aber eine andere Sache selbst aus aller Schwere heraus zu treten und sie immer wieder abzustreifen. Das geht durch Tanzen natürlich ganz wunderbar :).

Das Original des Bildes kann gekauft werden oder verschiedene Prints und Leinwände davon angefertigt werden.

This picture was created during a very brilliant worship time in the House of Prayer in Munich. The presence of God shaped the atmosphere of this time and was like a river of liquid fire as we sang over and over again:
“I love Your Presence” (Wir lieben Deine Gegenwart).

The Heavenly Chariot

I was once again allowed to create an commission for a customer who was already very satisfied with a painting from me a year earlier.

I wrote this to the client:

When I prayed for you, I got a very unusual impression. For I saw you driving a chariot of the kind used in ancient times in chariot racing or in war. What was unusual about the scenery, however, was that the carriage was not pulled by a team of horses, but by a huge, flying dove. And the chariot flew through lofty heights and moved very quickly across the sky. It was quite fiery and passionate to the point.

I believe that the picture means that God is going to speed you up, that you are going much faster now. That God will enable you through the Holy Spirit (the dove) to move in the spiritual sphere and no longer let earthly entanglements hold you back.

But I also think that this is an invitation to you, which you can probably choose again and again.

Reach out and grasp the hand of God. Have fun, it will be exciting!

I received very enthusiastic feedback from the client:

And what can I say... the picture is so incredibly beautiful!! I love it and could watch it all the time, it brings me to tears! The dove is so beautiful, it looks so strong, full of power. And the golden fiery color...it looks so regal. I am impressed and grateful for the picture, painted just for me.

And the message behind it is fierce. I am so thankful to God that he wants me to look deeper into the spiritual world. This is something I wish very much. Being closer to him, being totally guided by the Holy Spirit, trusting him absolutely, more of his gifts... it fills me with gratitude and humility that God wants to give this to me.

Thank you Johannes, I think what you do is so strong and great. That you use your talents like this! I want to encourage you to keep doing this because you are a blessing to others!
