On October 25, 2025, we held the third special evening of “Gebetshaus Kreativ,” and this time I was in charge. The theme was “Healing Through Art .” What a wonderful evening it was. There were about 14, including 3 men. 90% of the visitors were at the Munich House of Prayer for the first time; many different nations were represented, including Hungary, Brazil, and Cuba… One woman was from Kiel and is currently doing a training program at the Augsburg Prayer House.
To start, I shared a few healing testimonies about my art, and then I placed some pictures around the room along with their accompanying stories and a QR code so people could read the full story (the latest posts here on the blog tell some of these stories). I had selected and printed out a few Bible verses about healing.
I guided the attendees on how they could get creative. We started with a wonderful live worship session (Silke and Susanne—the other two leaders of this format—were supported by Bernhard from the YMCA, who went along with it wonderfully). Then I played a (praised) worship playlist while people got creative.

It was wonderful to see people gradually taking their seats at the tables and getting wonderfully creative. Some drew inspiration from the Bible verses; one woman painted a picture for her father, who had grown up without a father. She wrote him a letter reminding him that he did have a Father in God and inviting him to accept Jesus. I thought it was lovely that even those who were hesitant at first got creative.
Some also had pictures for others in the room. One woman made me a card with a thank-you message. She had been struggling with the idea of whether God could truly heal through art. My testimonies were a word of encouragement for her.
The discussion at the end was so moving. Just seeing the different ways creativity came to life—it was as if God had spoken directly to us. It was already sooo late, but we just couldn’t stop our enthusiastic debrief… Amazing!
