You are not alone (Lion)

The original painting was a secret Santa present at a Christmas party for a colleague at work.

As I was praying for my secret santa partner, I saw him standing alone on a lonely mountain in the darkness. He felt all alone, without a comrade at his side, that he was doomed to be a lone wolf, though he would have loved to have had someone else at his side to face his challenges.

But I saw that this assessment was not correct at all. At his side I saw a mighty, strong lion, glowing brightly in the dark. He was by his side and had his back, stood by him. As Christians we know the symbol of the lion, the lion from the tribe of Judah. It stands for Jesus, who never leaves us alone.

Perhaps one or the other of us also believes that they are alone and at a loss in the dark and that nobody supports them. But also Jesus, the strong lion of Judah, stands by your side, covers your back and fights for you! Nobody is alone!
