During our prayer shift at the Munich House of Prayer for “Identity, Art, and Creativity,” we recently focused on the following Bible passage:
“But David strengthend himself in the LORD his God.”
1 Samuel 30:6
The background to this passage is very moving. David returns from war with his men. They are tired and just want to rest and recharge. To their horror, they find their village plundered and devastated. Their wives, children, and belongings are gone. To make matters worse, they now turn against David and want to stone him. Most of us would panic. But David had the ability to find strength in God within minutes and even come up with a strategy for how they could get their belongings back.
That's what I tried to convey with my drawing.
