Trying something new with my art

my last newsletter was published just a while back. Summer is finally here with hot weather.
Time for a new edition. Enjoy the read!

Fineliner line art with white and gold

I'm trying out new art forms. So I made more line drawings with my fineliners on a dark drawing board. This time I highlighted light areas with a white artist's watercolor pencil and then added accents with a gold Edding paint marker. I am very happy with the results.

The scans don't show the golden lights well, so I recommend watching the small short videos for a better impression.

Deer jump with more depth

In my last newsletter I have already spoken of my ► multi-layered picture of the Hirschsprung in Höllental, Franconian Forest. The disadvantage of my frame back then was that there wasn't much room for spatial depth. There simply wasn't enough space between the two glass plates at the front and back.

Now I tried the whole thing with a new frame. There really is enough space here. Unfortunately I don't have a clear panel on the back. But with the sky, the picture is also very good.

New galleries with old pictures

There is a lot going on at the moment with data protection guidelines and copyright that you have to follow on your website and social media. So I'm in the process of restructuring all of this. A huge project that I'm far from finished with.

I have an very old website about me called ► Jocky.de (most of it is in German, the latest plog post are also in English). Here I talked about my life, my ministry, movies I saw in cinema, seminars I visited and a little bit about my art. As my art grew and I focused on earning money with it, I decided to have an own website just for my art. Till now I did not decide what to do with my old one.

In the course of all the stuff with the data protection laws I moved some of the galleries from the old site to the new art website and also added some unpublished images.

Speaking of my artist website. ► JockyArt.de is online for about a year now and is completely in English (you can switsch languages on the bottom of each page).

Here you can read testimonials, click through my galleries and of course buy my art. You are able to buy most of my art. Not every art piece is in my shop. If you find a painting on my gallery that is not on my shop, but what you like to buy, feel free to contact me.
You can get my art as art prints, postcards, posters or on canvas and on all kind of media like i.e. ► acrylic glass, ► pillows or ► blankets.

You can ► commission a picture for you or for a friend. Most of my clients ask me to pray for them and then paint the impression that I receive from God with my colored pencils. You can also ask me to paint an impression you received yourself, illustrate a bible verse or any other motif.

I received a lot of wonderful stories how people were touched by my art. These stories are so amazing that I made videos about it. Most of them are of course in German, but I made some of them in English.

The Night of the Storyteller: Touched by prophetic art

In my video series "The Night of the Storyteller" I talk about these wonderful stories how people were touched by my art. People were deeply touched by Jesus right were they are, they were comforted, moved to tears, some were even healed and prevented from doing suicide... It is really amazing how God used my art. I really recommend to watch those movies.

Book project: HOFFNUNG: Pandora Reloaded

I am uploading all of my old sermons on spotify. I realised most of them are centered around hope, pain and disappointments. I was part of a online conference about publishing books as e-books. It is easy to publish small texts and blog posts as e-books. When they are successful you can put them together as a full book and print it.

So I realised that I could put those sermons together and write a book with the same title as my podcast HOFFNUNG - Pandora Reloaded. Hoffnung = hope.

Another possible book project could be to publish my short stories that I have written over the years. I guess I will add a illustration to each story.

Now the challenge is to find to put it all together, write it down and do the illustrations.

I'm in a state of upheaval right now, so I'm asking for your prayers.

► Work situation: I am more and more dissatisfied with my part-time job in the call center and the current project. I'm looking for a new job, but I'm not exactly sure what I want to do yet.
Please pray for wisdom and clarity and the right job offers.

► Art: I am rarely able to sell my art these days. I'm looking for new ways to sell my art and create other art. Please pray for good ideas to sell my art and divine encounters.

► Apartment: I am looking for a new place to live, where there is also space for art, ideally where I can also make art together with visitors. The living situation in Munich is very challenging.
Please pray for favor in finding housing and a good sense of what is right.

► That I can find time to work on the book projects and to do my tax return.
