Wonderful trip to Tuscany with the creative group – September 2023

I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Tuscany at the end of September 2023 with some participants from the creative group “Creatio - Kunst, die lebt" (Creatio – Art that Lives) (then still CreateArt+). We are a group of Christian creatives and artists who are spread across the entire German-speaking region. In the monthly Zoom meetings we exchange ideas, encourage and pray for each other.

This trip was the first opportunity for most of the 10 participants to get to know each other personally. I enjoyed that there was enough time to get to know a little bit about other people's stories, their art and personality.

We were accommodated in several small apartments in a simple but beautiful holiday home complex. There was a large terrace, a spacious green area and a small swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful landscape with vineyards, poplars and olive trees.

In my home group, we watched a worship time by my mentor Matt Tommey, where he said, "Draw me closer to you."
I tried to express this longing for God's presence and His glory in a picture. Since I wasn't quite happy with the ► first painting . I later on did a ► second painting .

I have put another original painting online for you, which was created spontaneously during a worship time in the house of prayer in Munich. It is inspired by the song "House of Miracles" from Brandon Lake.

This line in particular caught my eye:

“This is a house of worship, this is a place of praise where every demon trembles…”

Prophetic Art: Let Incense Rise (Colored Pencil)

This spontaneous, prophetic picture was created during a prayer and worship time in the house of prayer Munich. The picture is inspired by the song "Worthy of it all", where in one line it says:

Day and night, night and day, let incense arise (Tag und Nacht, Nacht und Tag, lass Weihrauch aufsteigen)

Here, incense is a picture of our devotion, worship, and praise, rising like incense to God in heaven.

Prophetic art: Not to express in words

During this time we watched the worship session of Andi Ziller on the MEHR Conference 2020 , that was puplished shortly before. In the songSonne, Mond (Son, moon) a line stood out for me that says:

Wär meine Stimme laut wie Wassermassen
Meine Arme wie der Ozean weit
Könnt ich dennoch nie in Words fassen
Wie groß Du bist und deine Freundlichkeit.

The “WORTE” in particular stood out for me. So I began to paint this picture, as if the glory, the creativity, and the power of creation flow out of the words that I can't articulate.

During a worship time in the home group, this spontaneous prophetic picture was created, which I created with my artist's watercolor pencils.
