What a great evening yesterday was. The prayers on the subject of identity fitted in very well with those for artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The hook for the intercessory part<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Als Aufh\u00e4nger f\u00fcr den F\u00fcrbitteteil habe ich mein Bild „Die Geburt eines tanzenden Sterns aus Geborgenheit“ genommen. Es entstand w\u00e4hrend eines Schreibseminars, indem es darum ging, wie wir Schriftsteller (K\u00fcnstler) im Reich Gottes sein k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In der Welt gibt es den Gedanken, dass man nur kreativ sein kann, wenn noch Schmerz in einem ist. Ausgedr\u00fcckt durch den Satz von Friedrich Nietzsche aus „Also sprach Zarathrustra“: As a result, many artists take drugs, are addicted to alcohol, depressed and suicidal. As a result, many have died of an overdose and committed suicide. What would have happened if they had been cured, experienced security, what great art could we still have from them now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n As Christians, we also know pain and have experienced disappointment. We do not hide this, but we have a place for healing and comfort and, above all, a perspective of hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That's why I painted the picture: The birth of a dancing star out of security!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wir hatten an diesem Abend zum ersten Mal einige Besucher dabei. Da wir keinen Livelobpreis in dieser Stunde hatten, habe ich einige Songs ausgesucht. Unter anderem war da „Garden“ von Misty Edwards dabei. Als ich das Bild vorstellte, um das es gehen sollte, stie\u00df eine Besucherin einen Jubelschrei aus…<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the intercessory part, we prayed for healing from brokenness, pain, depression, where we as Christian artists are not excluded: \u201cHe heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.\u201d (Is 61:1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n As we prayed I felt God's heart break for the artists, He knows the brokenness that many artists feel. The presence of God was so strong and intense in this prayer time that I was moved to tears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the next part, we prayed for security with the Father, to arrive in the garden (we had sung the song beforehand). Jesus wants to give us security in the garden, but we also have to come to him for it: We had such an intense time of prayer that I left out my last point of intercession. With the last song, I challenged us to express the content of the song in a prophetic action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In dem Lied „Love on Fire“ kommt ein Part vor, in dem es hei\u00dft:<\/p>\n\n\n\n I put off all my heaviness and Ich lege alle Schwere ab und<\/em> So I invited us to celebrate what Jesus has already done with us or to express in an action what he would still do for us: Shaking off the heaviness, symbolically putting on the garment of praise and dancing because Jesus turns mourning into dancing. It was a powerful time, as some of us really got into it when we played the song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The evening ended with a spontaneous praise session...<\/p>\n\n\n\n What a powerful evening!
