Some special events I have been part of

Hello reader,

today I want to present to you some past events I have been part of. I think these things are still worthy to talk about though they happened a while back. Have a great time in reading and happy pentecost! Here in Germany we have still a holiday celebrating the outpouring of the Holy Spirit!

Presentation of my art in a Christian elementary school

At the end of May 2022 I had a very special experience. I was invited by the teacher of a 2nd grade class at Lukasschule, a Christian elementary school, to present my art. It started with me showing some pictures from my elementary school days and then showing the development over the years.

The kids didn't stop asking me questions and they were really great questions. Later, the children were asked to hear from God for each other and then paint a picture for their classmates using the materials of their choice. It was really exciting to see the creative works that came out of it.

In the end I was totally touched by the fee I received from the teacher. I left it open and it far exceeded my expectations. More on my blog: click.

„Do prophetic art“

I have been in the mentoring program "Created to Thrive" since October 2020. In addition to the regular program, there is a Zoom call twice a month, which is always attended by around 200 people. The participants come from all over the world. Each time they are divided into small groups of 3 - 4 people, where everyone first introduces themselves and their art and then tells them where they stand with the topic. You can give each other feedback and tips. I'm deeply connected to some of these people on Facebook today.

Now one of these women recently wrote to me. She's going back to college and a class was about how different cultures differ from America. She wanted to talk to me about exactly that. After we did that, we got to talking about prophecy and my prophetic art. She had grown up in a community where spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues were somehow used, but the gift of prophecy was frowned upon. She came from an abusive marriage and the church had somehow supported that in a weird way. Now she was having these strange dreams about the state of the church in the USA and the impression that God was saying, "Do prophetic art!"

She just had no idea what that was supposed to be. Then she came across the mentoring program, where they talked about prophetic art. She became a member around the same time as me. In her first BizChat, I was one of the participants in the breakout session. I introduced myself and said that I am doing prophetic art and introduced some of my paintings. That was an incredible affirmation to her! Because here she had found someone who was actually doing what she had heard God say. She asked a number of questions about how I receive my impressions for my pictures and how I go about it.

As an artist, she tends to make beautiful arrangements and wreaths; she hasn't painted in a long time. I recommended that she would use her art as art therapy for herself first. A few days later she sent me a photo of a sketchpad and charcoal pencils. A little later she posted a picture of a willow tree that she drew with charcoal. When I told her about our Eagle's Nest prophetic group, she was very excited because she recently had an impression where she ran and jumped off a cliff and turned into an eagle.

Wonderful outreach during the “Long Art Night 2022” in Landsberg am Lech

On Saturday the sun was shining when I arrived at the studio, although it had been raining heavily beforehand, so I had the opportunity to look at the beautiful old town with the winding streets and old houses. In the afternoon I was able to meet some of the other artists who were exhibiting their art here and hear interesting stories.

During the actual art night, a lot of people came, sometimes it felt like there were 20 people in the rooms. Most people quickly looked at everything and then left. However, here and there were opportunities to present my art and point out to my art calendars.

Testimony to a commissioned painting: Come out of hiding

After I completed a commissioned painting I got a wonderful testimony of the client. I personally really enjoyed the picture as I think I did it very well. The client is an old friend who I have a very loose contact with on Facebook and who I haven't seen for a long time.

• for protection and good surgery in hospital. I had my bile removed.

Intercession

• I am back from hospital now for a few weeks. Please for fully recovering and finding out how to live with the new situation in a good way

• More options for online and on-site drawing classes

• There are a lot of changes at my work place. And I am not sure, if I should stay there. Wisdom and support at work, clarity about whether I should look for a new job

• Challenging situation in the house where I live at the moment, finding a new place to live with the opportunity to make more art
